Drop-In Anchors are manufactured with an internally threaded, all-steel exterior shell that features an expansion cone insert used to anchor into the concrete.
Features
Drop-In, shell-type anchors featurean internally threaded, all-steel shellwith expansion cone insert and flushembedment lip. “Anchors are manufactured from zinc-plated carbon steel,18-8 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel.Anchors should be installed with carbide tipped hammer drill bits madein accordance to ANSI B212.15-1994 specifications.Anchors should be tested to ASTM E488 criteria and listed by ICC (formerlyICBO).
Applications
They are intended to be used in concrete materials only and can be used with any head style screw. Common applications include, pipe hanging, overhead anchoring, hanging strut, sprinkler systems and removable anchoring points.
