L Bolts are most commonly used when attaching a plate member to masonry foundations and providing an anchor for lightweight post bases. Commonly referred to as an L-shaped anchor bolt, they are also known as a 90-degree anchor bolt. Standard applications include anchoring structural columns, light poles, bridge rails and signage – dependent on the shape, size and material of the bolt. The bent portion of the bolt affords sufficient endurance so that the bolt is not pulled from the material, be it concrete or otherwise when force is applied.
